Johny Hendricks nailed “Bigg Rigg” knockouts on perennial contenders Jon Fitch and Martin Kampmann in less than a minute combined. Fitch lasted 12 seconds and Kampmann 48. In between those one-punch walk-off wins, he seized a unanimous decision from Josh Koscheck on FOX, emerging victorious from the UFC’s first battle between NCAA National Wrestling Champions. His year was as good as his beard is long. The Texan had the kind of 2012 contenders vying for attention envy.
