To celebrate the release of Adam Mansbach‘s acclaimed new novel, “Rage Is Back”, he went to J. Period to help him put together a tape that would capture the essence of what is being called “the great American graffiti novel”. J. Period enlisted the talents of Black Thought of the legendary Roots Crew and he does exactly what we’ve come to expect from one of the best wordsmiths around. While this is just the first single to drop off the tape that is due out later this month, the book itself is already on Amazon.com’s “Book of the Month” list as well as critic’s radar for diving into the world of street art and its artists. Either way, anytime we get some new material from Black Thought always makes for a good day.
