Dishonored

One of the few new IPs released this year, as Arkane Studios got to make the game they wanted and produced, arguably, one of the best games of this console generation. Dishonored plays like a mash-up of BioShock –no surprise since they made the second one– with the stealth elements of Assassin’s Creed sprinkled in. Aesthetically, the game is rendered beautifully with it’s use of colors, character models, and themes while boosting an upgrade system that allows plenty of exploration freedom. The game offers so many ways to play that it can sometimes get overwhelming just deciding what to do next. Dishonored brings a different playstyle to the stealth genre and makes us hungry for a continuation of this franchise. — Anthony Kennedy
