[FRESHNESS] adidas D. Rose 3 "Brenda"
Adidas gears up to drop another edition of the D. Rose 3, respectively sub-titled “Brenda.” We’ve seen a multitude of colors since the commence of the NBA season but, this one may be one of Derrick’s most prized releases. As an ode to his mother, the “Brenda” edition D. Rose 3 sneakers feature a red nubuck upper representing her favorite color (red). The crackled grainy finish represents Derrick’s upbringing in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. With inscriptions on the inside of both left and right sneaker tongues, the left displays “Brenda” in stylized red script while the right features Derrick Rose’s lasered signature. Look for the blazing red colorway to drop November 19 for $160, available at adidas Basketball.
Cairo
A Las Vegas native and graduate of F.I.D.M. (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), Cairo rounded his fashion education out along with music industry knowledge and experience from a few stints interning for Island Def Jam and Interscope/Geffen for 3+ years.
