[FRESHNESS] Adidas Set To Unveil Christmas Day “Big Color” Uniforms
Holiday games across any sport has served as a viewing tradition in households for years, this upcoming winter season the NBA will receive a new look. This Christmas will be BIG for the NBA as adidas will be unveiling their new “BIG Color” uniforms commemorating 65 years of Christmas Day games. The new “Big Color” unis will be worn by each of the 10 teams scheduled for Dec. 25th games. The bold fresh look has a few players excited as All-NBA center Dwight Howard of the Los Angeles Lakers stated, “I grew up watching games on Christmas Day and it’s a huge honor to have your team play in front of millions around the world, I’m excited to wear these BIG Color uniforms that bring style and flare to the court.” The uniforms feature a monochromatic color scheme along with solid color team logos, names, and numbers framed with minimal accent color including a shimmer finish. A part of the adidas Winter Court Collection, warm-up jackets and shooting shirts will be released alongside the “Big Color” jerseys. The collection will be available via the NBAStore.com, the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York, Champs Sports, and team retailers on November 15. ABC and ESPN will combine to present a five-game holiday blockbuster schedule, headlined by an ABC doubleheader featuring the Miami Heat and LeBron James hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant in an NBA Finals rematch at 5:30 p.m. ET.
