WWE Champion CM Punk Punches Fan; Police Report Filed
Well, that wasn’t part of the script. Current WWE Champion and top heel CM Punk struck a fan at the end of Monday Night Raw in Sacramento, California. The incident happened after Punk escaped through the crowd during a segment featuring John Cena, Ryback and WWE CEO Vince McMahon. As Punk stood in the crowd, a few fans were touching the champion. In the video, it appears that either Punk was annoyed with the fan behind him bumping his head or he mistook him for the fan on his right touching him. Either way, Punk swiped back and knocked the fan’s glasses off of his face and followed it up with a shove in the face. The fan has since filed a police report. It is not known if Punk will be subjected to any disciplinary action by the WWE considering that he’s headlining the company’s “Hell In A Cell” pay per view on October 28.
