Capitol recording artist Colin Munroe enlists electronic duo Zeds Dead for the remix of “The Fight of My Life” feat. Pusha T. While making a mark in the dubstep scene, Zeds Dead has remixed tracks by Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Dragonette, The Roots and more. The preview version of the track received over 100,000 plays on SoundCloud in less than three weeks.
This collaboration continues Munroe’s long streak of bridging his alt-pop sound with a variety of other genres. Most recently, Munroe leaked “Your Eyes” featuring Bay Area femcee K. Flay and “Invincible” featuring Wu-Tang Clan member RZA and Canadian dream pop group Memoryhouse. Both tracks join the original version of “The Fight of My Life” on Munroe’s upcoming mixtape, Unsung Hero, dropping this summer.
