GTFOHWTBS – Chris Brown Announces Death Of HipHop, Confirms Stupidity
Chris Brown just can’t stay out of the news. Whether he’s throwing bottles, or chairs, or his career out the window, Brown remains a constant in the news cycle. In a recent interview with Fuse Magazine, Hip Hop luminary, music industry jackass, R&B singer Chris Brown, gave his assessment on the state of Hip Hop music.
“You know how they said Hip-Hop is dead, certain sh** is dead? It’s really dead because nobody believes in the brand anymore,” he said.
Brown is not completely wrong. Hip hop has it’s issues, but it’s far from dead. After a brief auto-tuned hiatus, real emcees are making their way back into mainstream hiphop. And for the heads that actually looked for music, Hip Hop never died. Look, the bottle throwing bandit has the right to his opinion, but the notion of Chris Brown commenting on the state of Hip Hop makes me want to throw a bottle myself. You’d think Brown would stop there, right? Nope, Brown not only thinks Hip Hop is dead, but see himself as it’s savior.
“If we don’t do it, who gon’ do it ? I’m like, f*** it, I’ll do it myself.” he said.
Bwahahahaahhaha!! GTFOHWTBS! Chris Brown? Hip Hop’s savior? We’re all getting Punk’d right? If anything, Brown’s “lyrics” on “Look At Me Now” killed Hip Hop. Is the dude that said “Ladies love me, I’m on my cool J” and rhymed “dick” with “dick” (four times), really talking about the state of Hip Hop? Luckily, Brown’s record of being a jackass has invalidated any opinion he has about anything. Focus on your dance steps Chris, and keep “Hip Hop” out of your mouth.

Aw man I thought the LL Cool J reference was tight. I’m just so damn white.
