[Video] Jay-Z Announces "Made In America" Music Festival In Philadelphia

Jay-Z traveled to the City of Brotherly Love for a major press conference, and sadly no, he didn’t sign an R&B singer by the name of Roc Nation O. Instead, he announced Made In America, his new Live Nation produced music festival, which is set to take place in Philly on September 1st and 2nd.

Sponsored by Budweiser and benefitting the United Way chapter of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey, the Made In America Music Festival will span across three stages at Fairmount Park and will feature over 30 musical acts, ranging from Hip Hop and R&B performers to Latin and dance musicians. Jay-Z announced that over 70% of the acts contacted have been confirmed to perform, but the official lineup should be coming before tickets are sold on May 23rd.

Present onstage with the Roc Nation head honcho was former Roc-A-Fella emcee and Philly native, Freeway. Do I see a reunion in the works? We’ll see!
