Josh Hamilton Joins Elite Home Run Club
When you see one home run you’ve pretty much seen them all right? Well, that is of course if you’ve seen it 4 times in one night from the same player, then you’ve just witnessed history. Something you’ll more than likely never see again. Which is exactly the latest feat by Texas Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton is that much more special.
Last night Hamilton hit four home runs against a Baltimore Orioles that increased his lead in the American League Triple Crown sweepstakes, which includes 36 RBI’s a nd a .406 batting average.
The accomplishment makes Hamilton only the 16th person to ever hit 4 home runs in a game in the history of Major League baseball. The 2010 MVP is having a season which by all means could trump his MVP year should he continue with this momentum.
