[The Tens] Athletically Gifted, Lyrically Handicapped: 10 Athletes Who Should Never Rap Again
Allen Iverson
In 2000, Allen Iverson released the track “40 Bars” under the moniker Jewelz. The track sparked an incredible amount of controversy and Iverson was criticized by NBA Commissioner David Stern for lyrics that featured “derogatory remarks about homosexuals”. Iverson apologized and agreed to change the lyrics. He ultimately never released an album.
Fail Meter – 3 – “40 Bars” wasn’t that bad. And while Iverson should probably not touch a mic, he’s not the worst emcee we’ve every heard.

What about Shaquille O’Neal? Or John Cena? And didn’t Allen Iverson release some music?
Nevermind about the A.I. post.
At least “B Ball’s best kept Secret” was good. That and Shaq’s 1st album was the start of all the ball players wanting to give rhyming a stab.
