[Video] Sonnymoon - "Just Before Dawn"
Sonnymoon‘s new song ”Just Before Dawn” was featured yesterday on Plug Research‘s compilation SP 2012, and now the visuals to the two-part track have premiered courtesy of Complex.
The video for “Just Before Dawn” captures life’s small, beautiful moments and bundles them into a montage of love, vulnerability, laugher, sadness, quiet, and darkness. It’s achingly beautiful. The simplistic melody and electronic-leaning beat draws out the lyrics as Anna Wise sings “any night / you should have someone to hold / tell you that you did ok / when your mind’s against you / just before dawn / blue skies.” The video is directed and edited by Gordon Hendrick and Hunter Steinman.
