Kanye West & Big Sean Surprise Appearance At SOBs 30th Anniversary Showcase

SOBs celebrating 30 years of existence was pretty incredible as Slaughterhouse, Machine Gun Kelly, 2 Chainz, Miguel and a host of others came through to celebrate. But for those of us who happened to be hanging out backstage, the sight of Kanye West walking through the back door was quite a shock. So was Hammer but it wasn’t like he got on stage to do the typewriter while Slaughterhouse performed “Hammer Dance” (now how fresh would THAT have been?). At any rate, nobody expected to see Kanye West and Big Sean take to the stage during 2 Chainz performance and send the crowd into a frenzy. Groupies went wild when ‘Ye, Chainz and Sean posed for photos before West and Big Sean performed a couple of songs. It was one of those “damn, I was there” moments that we won’t soon forget.

Over the past couple of years, every single concert footage that has been filmed in America has been horrible. Not because of the performance, but because of the audience. Put your god damn phones in your pockets, and enjoy the music. You have the advantage of having some of the world’s greatest musicians performing in front of you, and here you fools are watching it through your phones!

yeah, completely agree nick, that footage of AZ/Nas was absolutely shameful, no enthusiasm, no charisma, phones/cameras everywhere. I would kill to be there watching 2 legends perform

Scarface joining Willie D at Thrasher party? Bun B & Big KRIT at Def Jam showcase? This list is a little soft.
