[The Tens] The 10 Most Slept On Hip Hop Albums Of 2011
With the rise of blogs and artists being able to release music at an almost inhumane rate, it’s not too farfetched that you may have missed an excellent album or two in 2011. The albums that made this list are here because they put together exceptional projects that we feel didn’t get the shine that they deserved. They may not be signed to a major label, cosigned by some mainstream figure or have a monster budget to plaster their faces on the biggest billboards in New York, but that doesn’t make their music any less great. Check out this list and make sure you spend your hard earned dollars on any album presented here that you may not have in your collection. Trust us, you won’t be sorry. Hopefully in 2012 they will be “slept on” no longer.

Why is there a picture of XV’s work but its not on the list? Wtf
B/c it isn’t actually a list picture of all the albums. But it REALLY should be up there! That tape kills anyone of those up there. #inmyopinion

PL3DGE should be on the top 10 albums list…….but it was heavily slept on.
if Immortal Technique – The Martyr is on the list “Lowkey – Soundtrack to the struggle” is way better than his.
