[The Tens] The 10 Best Hip Hop Albums Of 2011

When you look at the past year in hip-hop, a wide grin should stretch across your face as you realize that there was some incredible music released in 2011. With the internet allowing even more entries into the rap game, we have had a helluva time trying to whittle down our top ten. Surely, there are going to be a few pissed off readers who will ask where their favorite album is. That’s part of the game though and we’re willing to get lambasted for it in the c-section.

We’re also pretty certain that more than a few readers will immediately comment “Hey, that’s not a album, that’s a mixtape!” and vice versa. Honestly, it doesn’t matter anymore. If it’s new music, more than 6 songs and there isn’t a DJ “mixing” it, then what you have is an album. Call it what you want, we’ll call it an album and here’s our top ten hip-hop albums of 2011.

I fucks with this list. But Cole World shouldn´t even be a nominee, it was average and mediocre as fuck. Very few songs stood out.

Has-Lo – In Case I Dont Make it or Pharoahe Monch – War should be on there. IDK what youre thinking by putting MC Babythighs on there (Drizzy) his CD is trash.

where the fuck is PL3DGE? Return of 4eva was not an album (although it should have been)

Any list that doesn’t include PL3DGE in it’s top 10 best albums of 2011 is BULLSHIT.
