As promised, R&B sensation and Toronto native The Weeknd has dropped his second mix tape of the year. Considering that House of Balloons is already one of the best albums of the year this mix tape has a lot riding on it. Could it possibly be as good? One of the things that’s crummy about the Internet and the musical landscape it’s created is that it forces artists to come up with new materially very quickly. This doesn’t come without it’s disadvantages. We mean, sure, the Internet is the reason that such a sensation could possibly come out of nowhere the way he has ( just ask the Bieb) but we really want this to be dam good as well.
