[The Tens] 10 Candidates For Drake’s Rappers Who “Either Lost It Or Ain’t Alive”

Contributed By D Dot Omen

In light of Drake’s recent jab at unnamed rappers who fell off, it really got me wondering, just who he was talking about after Drizzy spit “Lately I feel it went from top 5, to remaining 5. My favorite rappers either lost it or they ain’t alive” on “Dreams Money Can Buy?” I decided to compile this list of possible candidates based on information, articles and tidbits from the last 2-3 years. The sketch covers rappers ranging from who lost it and tributes those who “ain’t alive”.

Nas dropped distant relatives last year and it was raw as f*ck. Lupe album may not be on par with fnl or the cool but it still has singles out. As for Kanye the man dropped a platinum album last year. Drake drops his first album dissapears then drops this weak ass song n you make a list about who “feel off” without getting your facts together. gtfoh

J.Cole? Anyone

“one can’t help but notice, the subtle distance between the two, being absent from each others albums.”

This is inaccurate…and I suggest removing Kanye from the list.

Drake was on ALL OF THE LIGHTS and there was a leaked version with DRAKE rapping over ALL OF THE LIGHTS.

Kanye produced SHOW ME A GOOD TIME and FIND YOUR LOVE from Drake’s Debut.

The funny thing about this site being called “TheWellVersed” is it proves that n*ggas CAN’T read. This doesn’t reflect or state definitively that any of the people fell off or “lost it”. It’s JUST A LIST, supported with reasons why those people COULD BE LISTED.

    damn.

^YOU do know that this incident/article that 40 spoke about was AFTER all of that right? and they were absent from each others album. Kanye didn’t put out the Drake reference and Kanye didn’t rap on Thank Me Later.

^Screw would have been an excellent candidate…………..if he was a RAPPER. you know, like the title says the line is about “favorite RAPPERS either lost it or they ain’t alive”

“not favorite houston DJ’s either lost it or they ain’t alive”.

please drake’s garbage anyways. while this article is interesting in some ways and certainly brings up good points, it fails to mention the ludicrousness of drake calling out rappers (if he is) who are infinitely better than he is. anyone who puts drake ahead of lupe, dre or nas (or kanye if you only look at his old shit) is stupid as f*ck.

Drake is working with 9th wonder for Take Care or he said he was, which could very well mean a Phonte collab. and what you mean Tay ain’t rhyming no more? have you not been keeping up with the Foreign Exchange? and he did a joint with Lil B. #swag

Surely if you are debating who the rappers who Drake said ‘fell off’ are, the said rapper would actually have had to have fallen off to some extent? with that being said, how can you put Kanye up there? Dude had one of the best albums of last year and you are saying he could have ‘fell off’??? Nahhhh
