[Video] J*Davey Covers Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit"

J*Davey has been making some amazing music for quite some time. You might remember that we posted a joint from the duo in our TWV Recommends section not too long ago as well as an interview with Ms. Jack Davey herself. While we’ve been waiting for their long overdue debut album, we caught this treat on The Sounds of VTech website.

On an August night in Portland, J*Davey performed on “The Fix” at the Someday Lounge. After Tanya Morgan set the crowd up, Brook and Jack knocked them out with this absolutely brilliant rendition of “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” As a fan of the original, even I was skeptical as to whether or not they could pull this off. Check out the video for the magic that happened in Portland.
