DJ Premier To Produce On Immortal Technique's Upcoming Album

DJ Premier has carved out classics for many of hip hop’s finest emcees. He recently expressed his interest in recording an entire album with Joell Ortiz and has been busy with his own label, Year Round Records. But he has had enough time to work with another artist that would certainly destroy a DJ Premier production, Immortal Technique.

During an interview with TheWellVersed, DJ Premier announced that he has produced a track for New York-based underground heavyweight Immortal Technique. According to Premier, “[Immortal Technique and I] are doing a song for a concept album…You know that’s going to sound like some Public Enemy shit. I’m about to go off on that.” Details remain sparse, but Immortal Technique has confirmed to TWV that the track will appear on his long-awaited album The Middle Passage.
